How it started

TeaSalt&Spices was born from our shared passion for cooking and working with spices. During our gap year as chefs at Villa Augustus, we discovered the difference good spices can make in a dish. In 2024, we decided to share that experience. We saw that many people want to discover new flavors at home, but often don't know where to begin. That's why we started creating boxes with carefully selected spices and accessible recipes.

What started small in the barn of the parental home grew into TeaSalt&Spices: a place where cooking enthusiasts can find inspiration and quality spices.

Who we are

We are Maxim de Vries (pictured left) and Luc Winde (pictured right), the faces behind TeaSalt&Spices. From our own kitchen and experience as chefs in a restaurant, we discovered the joy of combining flavors and sharing that experience. We believe that cooking connects people and that a gift is only truly special when it has a touch of personality. That's why we wanted to offer more than just products, but above all, to share our love of flavor, cooking, and conviviality.
